NEW CARRIAGE HOUSE
New Carriage House; Newton, MA
A new generously proportioned 1,300 s.f. carriage house was designed by Vanecko, Ltd. to replace an outdated 1930’s garage. The design was informed by the details of the adjacent 1870 Stick Style Victorian home.

•Design features include space for two vehicles and ample storage on the ground level, with an exercise loft and bathroom above.

•Mechanical systems include in-floor radiant heating, air conditioning, and an audio/visual system in the exercise loft.

•Responsible for design and design development, permitting, construction documents and construction administration.

•Coordination of consultants for structural engineering and mechanical design.
